Joanna Sibbald is a 28 year old elementary school teacher of children between the age of 4 and 6 years old. Her favorite part of her job is that she is free to use her own creativity. When Joanna was younger she worked at a preschool where she organized afterschool activities. ‘It’s wonderful to see how children develop, how they practice and use their newly gained knowledge. They give a smile, a hug and say what they think.’
Joanna loves living in Delft close to her family, friends & colleagues. She enjoys food, cosiness & shiny jewelry. She dreams of having a little boutique with jewelry and crafty things she loves, serving the best coffee, tea & cupcakes of the world.

A day in the life of Joanna looks like…

Getting up very early…Every day is a new day with unpredictable events. Working with themes and teaching children while they are also playing. After schoolhours there’s always work to do in the classroom like administration or meetings. When I go home, it’s time to cook, dine and relax.

It’s refined, sophisticated, sweet & romantic. You can wear it everyday. Most jewelry is big or rough processed. That’s not the case with Calor Jewelry.

The Louise earrings and a version of the Rosie short gold earrings with goldthreaded gemstones. I get compliments all the time when I wear these.

Which pieces are on your wishlist at the moment?

I adore the new Spring Summer 2013 collection ‘Collection Naturel‘. The Lise earrings and the Carole necklace are both beautiful for the summer and I can’t choose between the Sophie earrings or the Eliane earrings.

Do you have a special memory wearing Calor Jewelry you’d like to share with us?

I’ve worn the Louise earrings at a cremation ceremony a few days ago. Because I didn’t want it to be a sad and grey ensemble.
